Future Forum Co-chairs Applaud Member Gabe Amo’s Additional Committee Assignment

Washington, D.C.– Future Forum co-chairs Congressman Colin Allred (D-TX), Congressman Darren Soto (D-FL), Congresswoman Haley Stevens (D-MI) and Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen (D-CO) released the following statement applauding Congressman Gabe Amo’s (D-RI) additional assignment to the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology. Amo currently serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

“Given the importance of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to Rhode Island, Congressman Amo will serve as an influential voice on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology,” said the Co-chairs. “ It has never been more important to have the next generation of leaders at the table to help consider and implement legislation that touches the lives of our American youth. We have no doubt that Amo will succeed in delivering for the American people in his new assignment.”

Rep. Gabriel Amo (RI-01) was sworn into the 118th Congress on November 13th. He and Rep. Jill Tokuda (HI-02) recently joined the Future Forum Caucus. At 53 Members strong, the Future Forum Caucus is the largest it has ever been.
