Future Forum Statement on the Resignation of Eric Swalwell

April 15, 2026

Washington, D.C.– The Co-Chairs of Future Forum issued the following statement:

The allegations against Eric Swalwell are horrific and he must be held accountable.

Swalwell’s resignation from Congress is an important initial step toward justice, but we need a full criminal investigation.

Future Forum stands with the victims, and they deserve our respect for their courage speaking truth to power. As a caucus focused on the priorities and future of younger Americans, we believe it is essential that young people can trust their leaders to act with integrity.
